Introduction

Mohamed Amine Fattouch and Youssef Ltaief developed the Ekrily app as an ad-supported application. This SERVICE is provided by us free of charge and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Ekrily unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy

Data Collection and Use

Among the types of Personal Data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: contact permission, camera access, social media account access, approximate location (continuous), cookies, usage data (phone number, first name, last name, address, postal code), email address, password, unique advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or IDFA), and other identifiable personal information

Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using this Application. Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by this Application is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for this Application to provide its services

Any use of Cookies – or of other tracking tools – by this Application or by the owners of third-party services used by this Application serves the purpose of providing the Service required by the User, in addition to any other purposes described in the present document and the Cookie Policy

User Data is collected to allow us to provide our Service, comply with our legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect our rights and interests (or those of our Users or third parties), detect malicious or fraudulent activity, as well as for: device permissions for Personal Data access, analytics, registration and authentication, access to third-party accounts, authentication provided directly by this Application, and advertising

Users are responsible for any third-party Personal Data obtained, published or shared through this Application and confirm that they have the third party’s consent to provide the Data to the Owner

Ekrily uses cookies to secure and verify your information when logging into our app with your private credentials. Cookies are not necessary for many parts of our services, such as browsing offers or searching by location. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of our services

You access your information using an email and password. WE never store passwords in plain text; they are encrypted. WE highly recommend not sharing your password with anyone. Your information is stored on a secure server accessible only by Ekrily staff using a password. WE encrypt your data to prevent unauthorized access during transmission

However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and WE cannot guarantee absolute security

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 18. WE do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If WE discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, WE will delete it immediately from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that WE can take necessary actions

Retention Time

Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose it has been collected for

  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between us and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed
  • Personal Data collected for the purposes of our legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes

We may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn

Furthermore, we may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority

Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification, and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period

This Application may request certain Facebook permissions allowing it to perform actions with the User’s Facebook account and retrieve information, including Personal Data

Basic Information

By default, this includes certain User Data such as id, name, picture, gender, and locale. Certain connections of the User, such as Friends, may also be available. If the User has made more of their Data public, more information will be available

Provides access to the User’s primary email address

Device Permissions for Accessing Personal Data

Depending on the User’s specific device, this Application may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User’s device Data as described below

By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time

To revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact us for support. The exact procedure for controlling app permissions may be dependent on the User’s device and software

Please note that revoking these permissions might impact the proper functioning of this Application

Microphone Permission

Allows access to the User’s microphone for audio recording
